    Default swordfish 240 esc help

    Just recently put power to this esc and hooked up my program box to it. The screen "update your esc or press ok" when I press ok the screen goes blank??? Would appreciate any input thanks.

    Do you have both leads from the esc plugged into the box like Diagram 2 opto esc in the instructions?
    Switch on?

    Yes, the receiver lead and the lead that consists of a black and red wire. Bolth have been plugged in and it won't get past the first screen after o press ok it just goes blank... maybe its a program box problem??

    Did you try checking the box firmware thru the pc link? A long shot mine was up to date.

    Maybe that's the problem.. I'll have to get the USB link and try it.

    It's probably a firmware update problem, have you had this ESC a while and just now using it?

    I did not but I haven't done anything out of the normal with this setup. I will go over all options.

    The controller HAS to be connected to the computer to update software, other wise where is it going to get the update from?
