Guys, what roster number is the Bradshaw boat?

Trying to figure out what it can be made into.

Bud and Oberto I knew. What else?

I can get that. I just wasn't sure which roster number the Bradshaw boat is supposed to be.

Within NAMBA tolerances, his latest modern hull can be used for most of the current boats except the Leland hulls, #92102.5 (with the modified right upper sponson), #1188 (with the dropped RH sponson), or #1218. He has two other hulls that cover the Leland navy.

    Terry,

I think this could be close to what you're looking for...

Part# SG121H will build the following unlimited hydroplanes:
Please note: This is a sample listing. If you do not see your hull listed, please ask.
This rc boat hull may build other hulls from 2000 to present day, with some modifications.

That's almost the exact same list that RC Boat Company has on their site.

I'm sure I could massage it into something else if I was super ambitious. Uhhhhh not so much.

Slap some glue on there and toss it in...ugly looking boats always run better anyway..

Can't. We already have two running this summer with that paint scheme so have to strip it, dip it, and slap some fresh finishes.

Your a gluten for punishment... It wasn't more than a weeks or two ago that you were swearing about Scales. Now your asking about how to make a hull "fit" into the right MHR number. IMO the newer the hull the more difficult it is to capture the hull design and features. Many of these hulls are changed through out the race season let alone year to year. In many cases we all relate the hull to the paint scheme, but that is only the beginning. The answer really depends on how "scale" you want it to be. I would pick a paint scheme and a year that you can readily acquire DETAILED pictures that can support the necessary changes to the Bradshaw Hull. Look in the front canard area and the rear transom area. Of course you have drop sponsons, large wiglets, small wiglets, no wiglets, rear shoe shapes, rear shoe sizes, wing upright length/shape differences... Your a better man than I am... ha ha

Mike, it's "Mid Michigan Electric Unlimiteds". Ulimiteds pisses off spell check because we use it as a noun. Maybe subconsciously I can't let it go. Did you know that once upon a time I was the D2 scale director? Absolutely hysterical on multiple levels.

I'll stick with something easy to track on this redo.

They're "scale" but they're race boats first. I won't let myself get too crazy about accuracy. Compliance with those little shoe and winglet nuances aren't actually part of the rule set. For a concourse contender maybe I would worry about that. There isn't a section that makes us verify that kind of thing anyway. The roster only gives us rough dimensions. Some of those old boats would be virtually impossible to verify.

No way this Bradshaw will be ready for the cup. My kids 8255 will make it but not this one. Needs stripped and repaired. With the 8255, the new P mono, and the repaint on the Thomas I'm buried. I really want to build a custom 45" wildthing this summer too.

Terry. I'm an appliance guy by trade, and wanted to redo the boat in the Miss Albert Lee hydro. I'm getting older and these boats are hard to see when running, and the Albert lee has nice bright colors. I should have a box for her tomorrow, I'll send a picture once it's loaded up.
