Sweet! It will be great to see you Ray! Looking forward to meeting some new folks as well.
My intention is to try to stay out of trouble with Rick's boats and have some fun!
Kind of looking forward to having Jerry Crowther, Tom Foley & co. hand me my butt in F Mono, I've never raced the class! May or may not have a shot at Scale & Sport 40, but gonna have fun trying!
See you guys at the pond!!

I hope Brandon is better sheltered from the winds than Ackerman is. It may be more about surviving than racing otherwise. http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/laun...=KSRQ&state=FL
I plan on being there, with a guest.
Bill - I hope it looks better for us on Sunday.

Guys,
The folks running the Atlanta Spring Nats have now opened up a couple more classes for electric. P-Mono, P-Ltd Sport Hydro and the Open Offshore classes.

Their pond is north- south and pretty much protected from wind on all sides. Ive raced there when it was blowing pretty good and it stays drivable.
Blackjack 29. Deltaforce 33. Cheetah twin, Insane FE30
1/10 1970 PaynPak, Aeromarine Jersey Skiff
The weather doesn't look too bad for Sun. It'll be chilly with wind 5 to 10 mph until afternoon. http://www.wunderground.com/weather-...:34230.1.99999
Ok Ray I was planning on getting there about 8:00. I will probably be hanging out with Rod Hedricks and The Guys from the Tampa club. See ya there.

The aviation site pretty much agrees Brian. Sunday is looking totally do-able. I'm hoping I'll have time to prep and charge packs for at least one boat (gotta make a trip to Lakeland on Saturday) but will be there to socialize regardless.
Let's see... where did I put my thermals....
Sun. morning says 4 to 7 mph. from 7:00 AM to noon
Looks OK

Somebody remind me to tighten my collets before tossing in tomorrow. Finished greasing the cables a little while ago, then remembered I'd already stowed my pit box in the van.
Bill tighten your collet.
Also your key should work. There has only ever been one lock and one set of keys. As long as you got it in the correct lock.. not the counties it should work.
Ray, it was great seeing you and Ole Reed again. Rich, it was nice to meet you.
Well I left Atlanta a FE Racer and returned a "Nitro Champion".
1st Scale Hydro
2nd Sport 40
3rd X Mono - Hit #3 in the last heat while running 2nd. behind Jerry Crowther.
The Tampa and Brandon clubs put on a great race.
Hope to see some of you guys in Atlanta in April!!
