BTW guys I'm leaving in the morning for Colorado, I told Scott he could go get the boats while I'm gone if he wanted. Although I'd be a little disappointed if I didn't help get everything set up. I'll be back the 24th see you guys then!

I went and looked at the thread, but really not interested in putting my boat(s) in the salt water.

    Ron,

Mike Whitley at Speedcraft made my boat. My undestanding is that the molds for the electric boat are now in the possesion of Don and Llamar Huff who are making gelcoat versions of the hull.

Hey Guys I'm back! Had a great trip, the only issue was lost a rear tire on the truck about 40 miles from the house we weren't on a interstate so I found a lot to pull into and I sure am glad I put the floor jack in the trailer instead of that *!***!***!***!**ty scissor jack that comes with the truck. It sepperated so I didn't want to take any chances and put a whole set on it out there. Found a little Mom and Pops tire shop in Woodland park and got a good deal on them. It snowed 3 times at the house while we were out there. I sent Scott a note, maybe we can get a setup day in this Sunday I'm ready

Hey guys. I got the documents from NAMBA yesterday and have copied them and mailed them today to the county. We will have our first meet at Bennett the 2nd Sunday of June.

Bill please update the site when you have a moment to show a meet at Bennett on June 14th. Thanks

I went to Bennett today and started clearing the launch area, I made the decision to put it on the left side as you're headed to the dock. It was a lot less stuff to clear and it's a shorter route to the course, I started a pile by the trash can till we figure out where to take it. Also somebody needs to bring a gas weedeater next Sunday all I have is a electric one. I need some voulenteers (And one person with a gas weedeater) to help me finish clearing next sunday, the more the better!!

Yes, I am aware of that but after today it looks like it's gonna be more work than I thought to get the launch area cleared. We could possibly have a day in just that so I figured I'd get it done first then we can consentrate on setting up the course.

No problem man, It needs to get done and I don't think we could get it all done in a day with setting up the course too. I'm guessing it'll take 3 or 4 hrs. to set up the course depending on how we do it.

And make sure all who are present and on site that a name badge MUST be worn at all times... even if its a work day, if its in your way hang it on the dock rails or something incase the county shows up so it is in plain sight and put it back on asap. Being we are now on a populated site and running under a more strict rule base we must also start being a bit more professional in the way we do things as well as abide by NAMBA rules regarding lake set up etc which we drifted from a bit. This is no longer sarasotas "we dont care about you or know who you are" Ackerman bs. Lets show the county what a great choice they made by allowing us to run at Bennett.

Will do, and I did have my badge on yesterday cause it wouldn't surprize me if nobody has told the grounds people at Bennett what's going on and that there is a boat club that now has permission to run there.
