    Default 2015 West Florida Model boat club, Sarasota, FL

    It's a new year and time for a new thread.

    While I'm in here, there's a good possibility that I won't be at the lake this Sunday.
    We have been dismantling as much of the office (work thing) as possible to get it ready for new carpet. I already know I'll be working late on Friday (along with everyone else in sales) to remove whatever is left. And' we'll likely be in there Saturday & Sunday putting things back in place to be ready to start back to work on Monday.

    Early morning doesn't look too bad. That's as far as the report goes so far. http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/laun...=KSRQ&state=FL

    No problem Scott. I figured you were busy.
    I wound up having to update my profile a couple of weeks ago. (a new field that had been added and was empty) but has been fine since.
    I'm pretty sure I won't make it tomorrow. Have to go back in to work in a few hours and have spent the morning trying to catch up on housework. Even if I don't have to work still won't have tme to get anything ready to run.

    I for sure won't be making it tomorrow. Just have got home and have to go back in around 8:30 in the morning. (if I can get out of bed)
    At least most of the heavy work is done. Tomorrow should just be getting all the computers hooked back up and making sure they are operational.

    The site was the victim of multiple vicious hacker attacks a few years ago and was down for months at a time, so most folks just migrated away. It also didn't help that the webmaster grew up, got married, had kids and doesn't monitor the site anymore.

    That explains alot. Too bad there is some good stuff there. Thanks for you login. It helps being able to see the build. The engine build is awesome.

    I drove out to Graves Hobbies today and picked up most of the parts I needed for the shovelnose. The only thing they didnt have was the reverse flex drive and the right handed prop. What size props are you guys using on yours? And stupid me I got my kit today and was surprised to see no plans. I guess I totally missed that one. Cut plane kits come with plans and I guess I expected the boats to also. Anyway I ordered them from Newton and I guess I have to reduce them 80% right. God I hate being a Newbe.
    This is the one I am doing;

    Property taxes are fairly cheap, the place we're looking at was $423.00 last year 3 bed, 2 bath, 3/4 acre, detached 2 car plus work shop garage, and a view of Pikes Peak from every window in the front of the house.
