I have 2 of them in my 4S twin cat and perform well and a snap to program with the included program card.

Mine aren't under much stress so for mono just be sure it can support the amps that your set up will draw.

    - good esc. Rebranded Hobbywing Seaking

    - Have one wouldn't buy another, firmware sucks regarding full throttle on some radios. It is a rebranded Swordfish esc. I also find that it seems more like a switch than a speed control, like it only has slow, medium and full throttle. Some also have a serious lag when you let off the throttle, takes a second or so for the esc to respond, not good in an emergency situation, a boat can cover a lot of water in a second! Mine doesn't do this but a buddies seems to....

    - Wouldn't buy this one at all. LVC voltages are too low a 3v per cell, no idea what the burst current is, big steps in the timing. To put is bluntly this is just a car esc with water cooling, whole bunch or programming options for cars that have no use in a boat.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Get a seaking 120 or seaking 180 if you have room. I have a seaking 60, 120 and 180 and they are all stellar esc's.
