Why do you need a "Y"? if you are connecting the batteries in series, just hook up the batteries' + to- and the other + and - goes to the ESC.DSCN3213_3438.jpg
if it is parallel then you need a parallel adapter . Kintec Parallel adapter.jpg
I am assuming you are using bullet connecters.

***edit*** this only applies is your doing them in series. You never stated one way or the other.

    Here's how I did mine...

This a seaking 180. I did the wires the same. Run the red one way, black the other and then a jumper between the positive left on one battery to the negative on the other battery. Essentially makes a loop through them. You can see it better on the swordfish 240. That black wire going under it is just a jumper. Hope this helps.

It would be two packs in series with 6.5 castle bullet connectors
