1/8 scale shovel ?

My question is about cg. The hull is 45" long do I set it at the normal 30 % or behind the turn fin. This hull is of unknown manufacturer and didn't cost me anything. Thought I'd put an 8s setup in it and see what it will do. Our club could always use more 1/8 scales.photo.JPGphoto (2).JPG

it is going to be probably an inch or two behind the turn fin maybe more on a boat that size

Ok great, Thanks ! That's what I was thinking. I will have some room to move batteries to fine tune.

The Karelsen real boat never ran with a engine cowl. Running for fun ok, racing in scale won't work, will need a fake engine.
