so i just had a question thankfully it has not happened to me, but i have seen it happen and have heard of it all over the web. What has happened when the batts puff up are they damaged at this point ? Or are they still able to be used ?
    Any info is greatly appreciated

Depends on how bad. I've seen some that slightly puff and still work fine. If it's badly puffed, I wouldn't chance it.

My opinion, puffed batteries = trouble down the road....just a matter of when...use at own risk.

I agree with the fellas above..... In these high amp draw applications I definitely wouldn't chance it, they should be okay in cars and trucks though if not too badly puffed, they are a little friendly applications.
