Default Will prop for 1/8" fit a 5/32 (4mm) shaft size?

Hi all, I am looking to purchase some new props for my boat. However, when I measure my prop shaft with the caliper, I am getting 5/32" (4mm) instead of 1/8". Would a 1/8" prop fit a 5/32" (4mm) shaft? Or do I have to replace the shaft?

    Thanks,

    Dillin

1/8 props will fit a 4/32 shaft. Trying to get it on a 5/32 shaft might be pushing your luck unless you are REALLY strong.

Thanks Paul :) I have been known to hit the gym at least 3 times in my lifetime, but I think I'll take your advice and pass on trying to get the prop on that shaft..
