P215, what ambient temps do you run in? Maybe a X442. In fact, you could try a P220/X445 cut down to 42mm-ish...

I forgot to mention that I am currently using an x447 prop. Is there anything else that would be faster without compromising my electronics?

Try an m545. Should give you higher top speed, but slightly slower out of the hole.

I went to order the m545 and saw that they make a m645. What do you guys think of for the m645 instead of the 545 with my set up?

Stating the motor is a "Leopard" doesnt help us a whole lot Paul. What size is it 4074, 4082, 4092 etc........... The larger motors may be able to spin an x645. If its the 4074 I think the m545 is a good choice.

I assume he is using the 4082. He states 1600kv, which the 4074 and 4092 don't have that "exact" kv. The Leo 4082 1600kv is what people usually out in this boat. I think having it try to spin a x645 it would result in torque roll on this boat. I might be wrong though, I never went past a P220...

gotta take baby steps to see if your esc/motor can handle it. You said you were running a x447 with no problems, correct? That being said, I wouldn't push the Spartan with a larger diameter prop. That means you are left with pitch adjustments.

The next logical step would be an m545 (smaller diameter, but larger pitch and the tongue removed. This should give you higher top speed but slightly slower acceleration out of the hole).

Other options would be the x642 (even smaller diameter but larger pitch), you could play with the m series, but i've heard lots of people having good balance with the x642 (motor and esc temps are great with good performance).

If you really want to push this boat, then the m645 is a good option (but I wouldn't make the jump directly from a x447).

Yeah, you dont want to go up any more in diamter with that thin light boat. An m545 or x545 seems to be in the zone to me.

Wow, you really went big, the 230 has more total pitch than an x645...................... Hope it goes well, at least you have a 180a ESC, should cover it.

Maybe if you don't like it you could get it cut down...
