Mean Machine 4s to 6s

Doing this conversion, could you run 3 2s lipos in a series in the hull? Currently have a 3" rudder. Would that work with a 6s setup?

I am currently running a seaking 180 esc with leopard 2200kv motor. 1650kv motor work well?

You can run your batteries however you want to.
3" rudder might be a tad short IMO
1650 kv would be better suited to sport running a 6s setup.

If you were setting one up to run 6s what leopard motor would you run? Boat won't be raced, just a sport boat.

The boat handles very well with 3" rudder on 4s. Can turn at full throttle.

Recommendations? My biggest question... I run 1 2s pack in each gunnel now. Could I put another one on a particular side to make 6s?

Just debating it... but I do like the way it runs on 4s.

I would just run one pack in the middle.
For 6s sport I think anything from 1400 - 1600 kv

I have one of these went the other way had a tp 1800 tp on 6s went to a2200 4050 .why the pond i ran on
Was to small . U will get 60 + mph with a 4082 leo 1600 and the right prop . 2, 3s packs are more desirable.

65ish on a 4082 1600kv with an m545. I run 2 x 3s 5000mah run times aren't great but she flies!

What length rudder do you run?

I have the speedmaster 21 5.25 inch, had the speedmaster mini but boat
Kept spinning out on hard turns. It bolted up directly in place of mini.
