    Default Castle 1515 2200kv spacers/bearings.

    Castle 1515 2200kv spacers/bearings:

Took it apart. Two spacers, one a little longer than the other.
    And then I got distracted.
I believe the longer one was in the front (wires) of the motor.
    Right.?

Also, is it worth paying the extra cash for Ceramic Bearings?

Obviously, this is my First "look inside".
All info/suggestions are appreciated, especially now.

    Thanks,

I put ceramics in all my motors. Ceramic hybrid. Stainless races, ceramic balls equals no rust. I'm not sure on the spacers.

Short spacer goes to the front and long goes in the rear. I rebuilt mine last year, thats straight from the rebuild kit.

The "front" in this case is the PTO end, where the short spacer goes.

Short spacer, collet end. Long spacer, wire end.

For the small incremental cost, ceramics are a no brainer for me.
