Default TFL Hobbies Pursuit P Mono

After seeing these run really well in P-Mono at the FE Nats this year, I decided to actually buy one from Tom at AmpEater Racing...

Powered by a Leopard 4082 2200Kv with an older Castle 240 Lv ESC, running 4S2P. Used all TFL hardware except for the AQ Revolt trim tabs.

Hope to get it wet this weekend.

John, may I ask how high the bottom of the strut is from the keel of the transom? I've got a Cyberstorm to finish building. Nice boat & build. I'd love to join you this weekend but, there is a yearly party with ole' highschool friends I go to. Bring it up to Lake Bellwood where I'll be I'm hoping to run my 40" mono if I get it together in time.... Esc is in the Whip 40...

So a few Saturdays ago, I was at the pond with a few others (Ray S, Robert, Jack and Brian) running boats on a cold, windy, choppy day.

Robert (LiPo Power) had is DF 33, Neu powered mono and I had my Pursuit. Now his Kv rating is around 1850 and mine is 2200, but the speed difference was crazy...I was leaving him in my wake so easily and pulling away with just a simple light pull of the trigger...

Then we got the boats in after the run, and I pulled out my 2P setup....opps...grabbed a couple of 5S packs my mistake! Duhhhh...temps were fine though and it handled the extra voltage fine.

I did tell Robert so he wouldn't feel bad about his DF getting slaughtered!
