    Default Prop for modded BJ29

I'm running a BJ29 hull, but have completely swapped out the electronics over the past year. This is a dedicated 6s setup and I'm running a Leopard 3674 motor rated at 1400 kv. The ESC is a Seaking 180 v2 and I'm currently spinning either a Prather S215 with added cup, or an X442. Both props are sharpened and balanced.

Running on 6s with 5,000 mah on board, temps are nice and cool. Starting at the ESC, it averages 90 degrees. The motor runs 110-115 and the batteries never get over 85. I'm running Nanotech 3s, 5000 mah, 45 C packs in series for a total of 6s. Timed 3 minute runs suck out 2300-2500 mah on average over the 3 minutes of 70-100% throttle. I originally had these two props for the 6 pole 1500 kv Miss Geico motor, but the Leopard 1400 kv 4 pole motor runs much cooler and has more torque.

Speeds aren't bad, but aren't that great either. With the 1400 kv motor on board, can I swing a bigger prop for some better speed? If my calculations are correct, I'm pulling an average of 100 amps over the timed 3 minute run.

I have the following props in my inventory, but don't want to run them unless I get the green light from the OSE knowledge base.

M545, X448 and Y547. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Y547 is likely WAY too much prop for the BJ29. It's an absolute madman on my Sprint Cat, and I'm sure the BJ29 would be even worse.

I would try the M545. I liked that prop on my Geico(2200kv&4s/5s)

    I'll give the M545 a try.

Just watch your temps. Run for 1 min then check. Just to be safe.

I doubt you'll burn that up. But just watch the temps so as to give an indication as to what can be next.
