All of the kits are ready to start building. Had to take all the parts out of their cut sheets. I cleared up most everything that had to get done ahead of these builds, and I got all 4 cowlings for the GP400's laid up this weekend, so that is out of the way! They turned out great! mike

Are very grateful for the opportunity to get this boat built by Mike
Have ordered some stuff for the boat. Speedmaster strut and rudder from the OSE.
Castle / Traxxas XO-1 motor, 1650kv from Ebay and water jacket from OSE.
Would like to get the turn fin, not sure where I'll get it.
Are not sure which esc I should use, since previously a Flier 300A/8S, Turnigy 180/6s and Etti 150A/6S but considering a esc with dataloging. Any thoughts?
Really looking forward to putting together this boat and especially driving it!

I spoke to Dick Tyndall/ Virginia Craftsman last night. Anyone needing fins for their build, contact me. I can have him ship all of them to me, so I can ship with your boats out to you. I will get his paypal address, and you pay him directly for the fin and shipping to me. Mike

Yes Mike, I would deffinetly like a turn fin from Dick Tyndall.. I've got everything else for the build and a MGM TMM 28026-3 X-2 lite series ESC is on it's way. I've even got my paint design drawn out.. It's really cool to have the boat built by the man himself!!

Sounds good guys. I had already discussed this with TimNJ, and he wants one too. Just need to see if Darryl needs one, and I will put in an order to Dick as soon as possible. Mike

Darryl, I received your next deposit. Thank you.

Looks like everyone wants fins for their builds. No problem. I will get those ordered.

I got a lot done today, all (4) gp400 kits were sanded down, and (3) pairs of sponsons were mostly finished. I should continue on tomorrow. These should be done soon. Tim, your gp265 kit has been ordered, just has not arrived yet.

    More soon, Mike

Hey, I got the other sponson pair built and started on one of the center sections. I will get more done tomorrow most likely. So cowlings had to be made for some customer orders, so i am working on those too.

Haha, thats funny. I woke up early as a friend was bringing me 5 gallons of resin, 3 gallons of various gel coats this morning, so I had time in the garage until he arrived!
