I am not sure what you are using now, but with the 6s setup you might consider trying a x438 -x442, what Kv rating are you running?, and there are different variations of these props but what I would suggest is to look right here on OSE in the store and buy some of the carbon filled props they are about 5.00 bucks each and try them and check your heat factors. and check with some of the racers, but start with a variety of the lesser expensive props to find out which is best for you, (it is going to go fast.)

You might want to check out this thread, lots of good info https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=5487

the boats discussed in that thread are 32" though, but it should give you a rough estimate. Good luck with your build.

Here are some photos of it in the sun after I have wet sanded it, it still needs more polishing out, but you get the idea, just needs a little bit more work and some motivation to buy a proper battery setup for it and get it wet. I think the decals are a nice touch.

The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

Well due to running twin motors, and the space requirements, I think I am going to have to use a larger mAh single battery, I found a venom 4000mah battery that should fit the power requrement for both batteries.

I plan on ordering it, what do you think? Now what sort of connections should I run? I see that no one likes deans, do you think I am out of the amp range for the deans with this? It may make for a cleaner setup to use bullets anyways, thoughts on connector size?

Your motors wont be pulling that many amps, your esc's are only 30 amp you should be just fine, remember I was using 2-3s at 1450 amps each in parallel works great

Just ordered the venom 4000mah 3s lipo, that will be enough mAh for both motors/esc's and have some run time on them, hoping they don't overheat, once I run it I will bring in after 1 min to temp checking.

Cool, I will be looking forward to seeing it. I'm almost afraid to run mine in fear the esc's are gonig to catch on fire, they shouldn't though. Too bad you don't have a temp guage to see how hot stuff is running, once I get mine going I am going to do the 1 min run and temp check drill. What is the kV on your motors again?

One of these days I'll throw this bad boy back in the water. Not really any water over here in the sandbox though.

Here is it in the water. I think a little more work to it and it will be golden.

Thanks, was a lot of fun. I think with some tweaking we can get some more speed out of it. I’ll need new escs tho. Are the mystery escs any better than from 10years ago? Or are they the same?

Pretty sure they are the same Suppo ESCs. Check HobbyKing. Ten shock has a nice little one but I think $$. I just put a 30amp HobbyKing in my minimono.
