I got the gps today. I popped it in the jack...As you can see it's really small. Almost no weight. I hope to get back in the water Friday and gather some numbers.

lloks nice... let us know how accurate you think it is.
restoring the collection
Its Accurate. Does MPH to the tenths. Got my SV up to 32.8mph I mounded 2 velcro strips directly in front of the motor and place the unit there when I use it.
Be sure and run your boat at WOT for 3-5 seconds and dont slow down a lot in the turns for it to get an accurate max reading. It takes a few seconds for it to level out on this reading.
Hi where did you get it?
Also you may want to put it inside a clear plastic bag or zip bag just incase water gets in the hull it won't get wet.
Here is one up for bid but they come up all the time to buy for 19.95. There is one guy selling them for 54 dont get it from him. I got mine for 17. G/L http://cgi.ebay.com/NAVIBE-GPS-SPORT...QQcmdZViewItem
All I can say is that BattlePack stick is HUGE. I'm being way out gunned in the sticker department. :D

He did this on his own, I did not ask for it. Besides, you will own Battlepack by the time the Nats roll around.
Thanks will be watching it... I found the same one but orange at the geeks.com for $24.00 but shipping is $8.00 .
Steven, Send me a billboard...I'll mount it up lol. I'm redoing the sides of the Jack and SV with some vinyl lettering this coming week. Every one including SJFE will be represented :D Gota get them ready to make some more videos. I can use more clips for my dvd if anyone wants to contribute.
Just ordered a orange one from geeks.com that one on e-bay looks like it will go up past $30.00 anyhow 2 bids on it already and the one on geeks in the color orange looks better to me also :-)
I'm going to buy a few....May as well...they are cheap and light. Why not just have them hard mounted in every boat.
Yea i can test run all my RC's with it :-)
Thanks for the info on it SJFE
