Default OSE Flex shaft and liner

    Good day all
Received my Revolt last week - seems like the rudder water pickup was increased at the factory and the canopy tape was normal paper type of tape which came off easy.
Motor and flex seems to line up perfectly, don`t see any real issues anywhere.

Did not even touched the water - waiting for my ose flex shaft, short octura coupler and thrust bearing.
The flex shaft from ose comes with a liner. Must I replace the stock liner with the one that came with the ose flex?

    Hi,
Note, that the paper tape that comes with the boat is for shipping only, you'll need waterproof hatch tape (clear hockey tape works well).

You don't need to replace the liner-- keep the new one as a spare.

    Thanks

Yes received my hockey tape on last week.

I think the paper tape are only used to secure the canopy to the hull with shipping, just mentioned it because it seems like previous hulls were taped with a sticky tape that left some residue and were difficult to remove
