Default New brushless bright mastercraft x star build, just getting started....

Have a lot of decals left to go but here's my idea if a p51 mustang wrap, being set up like a miss geico and a spartan underneath. Will update later.

What hull is the master craft? I haven't seen one like it. Is it custom made or based off an existing hull?
    Very curious...

This based on there x series of boats, I'm just gonna call it my x80. I'll have pics of the inside once I get the carbon fiber in. This was just a toy really when I started but bright has suckle great detail I wanted to make a brushless boat out of it. Hobby grade. Hopefully it do around 30 at most. I cut off the lame dangle it had underneath for the driveshaft and crap motor that was in it so now it's flat, had to be done. I'll add a pic of that as well.

They made this toy like 6 years ago and you can find them on ebay every once in a while. They used to sell in hobby stores for 80 bucks

It looks like it could be a really cool jet boat. Although I can't see the underneath so I don't know how it would work. Pretty cool looking hull though

Ok... At that size it's much cooler. Update your thread at progress points cause it's definitly something that I would run up the river at the cottage. Looking forward to seeing some vids.

Added rub rail, p51 exhaust, carbon fiber hull inlay. Now for the rest, will post pics and videos of it actually in water as I've never seen one of these ran.

Wow good job... I found one of these boats for 50$ here in Ontario. I am considering it to make into a jet boat but I have a bunch of other boats I need to get too. Yours is coming along really nice though. Must be a nice stiff hull now. Did it stick to the plastic ok?

Yeah no real issues getting it to work. Idk if this hull would be a good jet boat candidate as you need to bottom to be flat for that application. Thanks for the props though and good luck with yours.

Have you run it yet? Or put the gear inside? I am curious to know how it goes.
