Default MG 29 Hull Fix (NEED HELP)

    Hey guys,
I was messing around with my mg 29 and i accidentally snapped the stuffing tube where it comes up into the hull. (stupid me) The whole bottom of the exterior of the boat cracked slightly. Ended up getting a new stuffing tube, and fiber glassed w/ epoxy. I was wondering what kind of paint/primer that i should put over.. Should i add a gel coat? I'm very new to paint and if somebody can direct me to the right direction that would be great. Feel free to come check out my videos of the fix i did on YouTube. Username - rock200079

If it is just the bottom, now would be a good time to blueprint the ride pads. Then paint. Primer then paint. Anything from Home Depot. I've used rustoleum or Tremclad.

    Hey srislash,
Thx for the info, but what exactly do you mean by blueprinting a boat? you mean taking a measurement or something?

Actually a lot of info on this. You can also look up mine https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...fix&highlight=

You just make sure the ride surface is straight and true.
