    Default Proper lipo disharge ?

Hi all i run my lipos in 2p format on my 3 monos i have heard several different theories on correct and safe lipo discharge while boating 1 being never discharge a lipo more than 80% of rated capacity 2 being don't let cell voltage drop bellow 3.1volt per cell .Which is the correct method for maintaining performance and long battery life ?Regards Andris Golts.

If you set your LVC @3.iv, IMO it is already too low, I set mine @3.3V.
I have a battery checker that tells me the capacity readings, I never discharge beyond 80%. I leave 20% reserve, on one occasion I miss timed, and they went down to 10% reserve, not a good thing, but I have yet to see the negative impact. Just don't do it regularly.

I have 5s lipos, I stop at 18.7-18.8 with the minimum volatage being at 18.5. Since I have been doing that no puffing and cooler temps. I can't find the knock on wood smiley!!!!
Why are you bothering me? I want to see your boat!
