What's the difference between "y" & "x" props??
I know AQ uses the "y" style on Miss Vegas - think PB also used "y" props on one of they're RTR's at one time.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...-m-series-prop - So the only diff between an "x" and "y" is the pitch - all y's are 1.5P?? But (most) x's are 1.4P or 1.6P??
I already knew that m's were detougued x's thanks to this excellent thread... https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...-Octura-M-or-X
Thanks for your help
Seeing this thread made me purchase a Y prop just now

When they were first introduced, the designer of the Y props told me that the Ys had 10% more pitch than the same diameter X4 props did. This is not the same as 1.5 times the diameter. The x500 series props have the 1.5 pitch/diameter ratio, not the same thing as the Ys. A minor difference but still a fact.....So the only diff between an "x" and "y" is the pitch - all y's are 1.5P?? But (most) x's are 1.4P or 1.6P??
