Default RC Club House Dirt track Warren MI

Went to the RC Club House dirt track in Warren Saturday with the Hobby Master. What a nice place. Indoor RC dirt track racing at a well laid out facility. Big track with lots of elevation changes and a nice high drivers stand. No 2x4s and plywood to wreck your car on. Great track, excellent pit facilities, hot water and soap in the clean rest rooms. On site hobby shop has good pricing on parts and tires. Makes that other indoor track we go seem kind of dumpy! Located on Topher just west of Hoover in Warren (neighborhood is kind of dumpy). Worth checking out! Now I gotta go buy some dirt tires!

A friend of mine used to live right by there. He's a reverend. He was beat up in his front yard by 16 yo kids. Nice neighborhood. Do they have armed guards in the lot?

Are they doing the full on hobby shop thing there? I'll have to get down there to check it out some time.

John has to stay in the lot to watch our cars. I think that side of Groesbeck is more industrial so less foot traffic. I can't remember though.

What are the hours there? Anybody know?

Someday I'm going to buy a rat nest in Detroit big enough to make an indoor pond. Maybe with second floor parking so we'll all be inside. Only need about a 150000 square foot rectangle. Dream'n out loud.

I just designed a system for a 100k building. The owner supposedly bought the building and property for one dollar.

So my son and I were in the pool at the anchor bay aquatic center. Swim'n splash'n. All of a sudden Ty stops and says "Think they would let us use this pool in the summer?". He's rapidly approaching my level of crazy. He's the idea guy at our house.

    We could pad those posts.

    Hours of this place is:
    Mon-Fri 11:00am to 8:00pm
Tuesday after 6:00pm rookie orientation and racing
    Wednesday racing starts at 7:00pm
Saturday opens at 10:00am racing starts at 1:00pm
    Sunday 11:00 to 5:00pm
They will be closed Sunday the 19th of January to re-configure the track

There is a on site hobby shop that has lots of car parts and tires. Their tire prices are pretty good! The area is industrial, and they do have a fenced in parking lot.

i was there on fri. afternoon and picked up some tires and rims. that place is hugh! good prices on just about everything. conceiled carry is ok---young lady behind counter had hers on! since i'm new to cars and buggies i had a lot questions about what would work on my car with different floor bases. they had a person there who was very tuned in esp. with buggies! that's how i got my tires for racing at larry's-he races their too. very nice people.

Went to the Club House with Hobby Master today. Lots of fun getting the truck dirty! Slide around quite a bit, but fun to drive.
