Default What to seal bare wood transom with?

    Hello all,

I am progressing on my TFL Ariane 2 cf build. I am ready to send the hull out for some small graphics and clear coat.

Before I do that I noticed the inside of the hull transom is bare wood. I would like to seal that with something before paint.

Is there a marine grade urethane I can use?

I thought about epoxy but it is too thick.

What should I use to seal up my plywood
    ransom?

    thank you for your time,

    Varooom

You can use epoxy for layup propose.
    Its thinner than normal epoxy.

Laminating epoxy works well. While you're at it, a layer of CF wouldn't hurt........but I do like to overkill things.

One tip I learned from the guy who built my full scale boat is to make sure the wood is sealed inside the transom through holes.............yes overkill on a RC boat Use epoxy for that as well.
