    Default Prop Differences.

Just wondering if there is a performance difference between a copper berrilium and CNC prop if they are of the same make for example M545.

Im sure CNC is lighter, and much more balanced, Not sure though, good question, maybe someone else will give a good review on both these props.

If the prop is well balanced and Works for a boat it doesn't matter what type of metal its made.CNC are more difficult to repitch than berilium or SS.Gill

makes sense with them being precision cut instead of filed shaped and polished. Still reading on prop balancing and tuning. A lot more involved then one might think.

It has nothing to do with "precision". Aluminum is not ductile and can't be cupped or pitched up significantly , unlike BeCu and stainless.

have always had stainless and beryllium props run better. Props that come from a cast seem to run better holding everything constant but thats just my opinion.

prop tuning is often overlooked when new to the hobby, a good prop makes the boat run totally differently, faster, cooler, everything.
