Default hrc water jacket neu/40x82 fit

Seems there are different jackets for leopard type and neu 15 series, I just want to know will my 15 series water jacket will fit a 40 x82, not concerned about length just diameter

    Short answer is no.
The NEU 1515 and NEU 1521-1527 are different size and the Leopard 40 mm falls between the two. Hope that helps.

To confirm, the 1515 jacket won't fit the 1521?

Might need a shorter jacket ( no more than 50MM) will the 1512 work on the 1515?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes the 1512 jacket will fit the 1515 motor. If you are using a rear support on the 1515 motor and need a shorter jacket.

    Dave,
I have a 1527. I bought a HRC 1515 jacket because I have a rear mount and the 1521-1527 jacket is too long.

I have found out the hard way that the 1515 jacket will not fit.

I can move the rear mount back enough to make the 1521 jacket fit so, to be clear...

the 1521 jacket will fit my 1527 motor?

    thank you,

Yes the 1521 jacket will fit the 1527 motor. You will not get as much cooling but if your setup is good it should be fine.
Sorry you found out the hard way about the 1515 jacket not fitting a 1521 or 1527.

    Thanks Dave,

Yes, I found out the hard way but...... I will just have to put a 1515 in my Revolt so I can use the 1515 jacket. Problem solved, he-he.
