Default UL1 Motor 147 Degrees ESC & Battery Connections 108 Degrees MC Race Setup

I tested my MC yesterday with a Sholund Back Cut M445. The good news it is set up perfectly, runs on the back pads, corners on rails. The bad news is after a 2:00 minute run the UL1 motor was 147.5 degrees (tested within 30 seconds of running). The ESC (AQ) was 108 and the battery connections 98. The motor has Castle 6.5 connectors with the motor wire ends wrapped in copper wire for a better solder connection. I blew compressed air through the cooling system and their is no blockage. Before I add another water pickup, I was wondering what else could be causing the motor to run so hot? As it is now, I doubt it would make it through a 6 lap sprint race.

Try a smaller prop is all I know. I run an M445 with the 1800kv motor in my Geico for 4min races and it's fine.

Put the 1800 kv motor back in...there's no need to run the 2030...

So the fact that the motor is hot, and the esc and batteries are not, is strictly because of the prop size? I would think if I over propped they would all be equally stressed? This has been the case in other boats/race setups I tried a larger prop.

This may sound way out there bull but how hard is it to just blow through the intake line? Also what cooling can are you useing? Just thinking off the cuff here as i have never had a heat prob with a aq 2030 but i always use hrc water cans
