Did finally get this baby wet. Runs really smooth. Might need more fin on the right side. Haven't quite figured out the prop situation yet either. Needs big 2 blade that I just don't have. Like maybe 462 sized. I can't even warm the batteries up with the props I own.

Sure looks sweet in the water though.

    Terry,

What SHAPE are the current turn-fins. If they are tear-drop shaped (seems to be the rage these days), try something more like this:

I assure you, it WILL be better, especially in real race water...

Maybe. I suspect it's a size thing though. I try to use the smallest fins I can get away with but this things weights a bunch with 8s12000mah.

Size matters, but surface area counts as size... :) The difference between finishing a P-Ltd Mono or Offshore race with an IM31 is these fins over the stock teardrops, and these aren't as deep... The boat is a full-throttle pin it in the corner boat with these. It's rolled over upside down with the stock ones...

Hey, I'm just here to help!

I have a number of fins I need to invent. My Q sport absolutely can not hold a turn. I do have a plan for that at least.

I nice sheet of fin on this would be easy enough to do.

I tried a set of small Speedmaster's cut down for my P-mono and it turned like crap... not the fins problem just the rest of my setup didn't like them... Pond time... there is never enough.
