Default TFL Hobbies "Blade" Open Mono

Monica just let me know that I'm getting a fully built (minus engine) Blade.

    http://www.tflhobby.com/product/gas_...cing_boat.html

Should be a nice conversion on 10S......It will probably get a Lehner 3040 740 Kv motor that I have leftover .

These folks at TFL are really great to deal with and very accomodating

Just got word from Monica that my Blade is being manufactured as we speak.

TFL has also been kind enough to provide me with a motor for this beast...one of their own 5694/800KV motors

Well, one big assed box showed up today!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I post pics of the hull, I have to make note of TFL's packaging for this beast.

It was double cardboard boxed, each being 1/4" thick...the inner box also had plywood covering both sides for extra protection.

Nicely done TFL...it made it here without a scratch.

It even met the approval of my assistant, Pete.

    Inside the beast:

There's a nice 1/4" plywood transom insert as well.

That's sweet inside. My Promise 40" Vee looked like the dogs breakfast compared to that. Both are CF/Kevlar layup.
