Temora RC boat & V8 Jet boat combined boating weekend 25/26 October 2013

    Location
Lake Centenary, Temora 2666. HiTech oils park, Temora 2666. Both venues are within 60 meters of each other. The Temora Aviation museum is very close and vintage warbirds like Spitfires and Sabre jets can be seen flying over the lake.

    Ammenities
Both Venues are within the same park grounds. Six free to use push button electric BBQ's are available with a total of six 240v power outlets for your power needs. There are five shade sails along the lake edge, a kids sand pit/ play area plus clean toilets and showers.

    Catering
A small snack hut providing pies, hotdogs, chips and chocolates will be on site. The nearest Woolworths super market is approx 3 kilometers away. The center of town is approx 5 kilometers away with various take away food outlets available and an ex-services club for entertainment.

    What you need to bring
The nearest hobby shop is approx 80 kilometers away, so bring any parts you may need and any fuel you will use over the weekend. Temora is voted the friendliest town in N.S.W, so bring a smile with you.

Lunch break is from 1pm to 3pm. You are free to enter the pits of the V8 super boats to take pics if you have a wrist band for entry to the jet boat area. After lunch will be the same as above untill it's too dark to run.

Sunday 26th will be the same schedual as Saterday.

Only 5 more sleeps to go! If you haven't booked your accommodation yet, you better hurry up!

There are approx 50 boats coming so it will be a great weekend of RC and V8 Jet Boat action.

    See you there!

    It's started!

The first RC boater has just arrived, all the way from Brisbane (a couple of thousand Km's away)! He came early so he and I can tweak and tune his unused Gasser before hand.
I think a few drinks around the fire pot will be on the cards tonight.

It's pretty gratifying to see something I have been working so hard on coming to fruition. Plus for at least one weekend I will have others to run with.
