And take out the weight you added as well., I've run mine is some really windy conditions and it seems to stray planted on the water nicely.

Thanks , I will do that! Good to know that a little windy condition won't faze her.

I always found the Y547 an odd prop but, if it does the trick, good stuff! I would like to see the profile Dasbota created by the D/T'ing of that prop.

Ron doesn't speak "English", he speaks "American"

Fortunately, sharing a common border allows me to figure out most of what he's saying

Monica, I thought you and I were doing so well with our "slang" lessons. I'll have to try better when we e-mail and skype.

    Ron.
I'm glad that you & flapraptor like the Y547 as much as I do. It's got just the right amount of lift with a 2200kv motor to get the tail up with the COG back that far. I also run just a smidge of negative in the strut.
As Ray suggested, I'd also like to see the profile of the de-tonguing that Daz worked into the prop too. Unless it's a national security thing. Mine is what I'd call 2/3 de-tongued. Not fully de-tongued.

    Cheers.

Paul, I got this prop and want to try, but I don't think mine is de-tongued, what are the negatives w/o this feature?

No real negatives but it will load up the motor a bit more. Therefore a slightly higher current draw & possibly increased temps. It may also have slightly more lift which may be a good thing. Just means you might not need any negative angle on the strut.
I never tried it as a stock prop so I can't really say.
But I have seen boats run bigger & higher pitched props, than what was thought to be the optimum, resulting in faster boats, with less heat on the electrics, & more capacity left in the pack after the race, because the boat just "FLIES" better.
Just give it a try, & monitor the temps & battery usage.

And these results were with de-tongued props ?
