    Default BJ26 ESC on 6S?

    I read that a BJ26 stock ESC/motor can handle 6S without BEC........???

Has anyone run theirs on 6S successfully?

    Which prop?

WOW REALLY? Who did it? I have a couple of those going in my old twin outboard Titan 40. Now you have me more intrigued.

When I first had my BJ I ran it on 6s my cousin let me try out one of his packs that's when I did 51 plus before it blew over, everything was stock, with the exception of the 645 prop.

    6s with BEC

My Gosh.................... that makes it more incredible!

They really over built this ESC.

This info is tempting me to put 6s in a Miss Budweiser with the BJ motor/esc combo with BEC.

    For the new guys:
BEC (Some ESC's have a built in "Battery Eliminater Circuit", to power the receiver on the middle red wire going to the receiver.

Disconnect this wire for (without BEC) if you want to use an external battery to power the receiver or you may also purchase an external BEC to power it.

Both all stock part,or just too much battery C ratting,
    I'm using 30C ratting serial with 25C 2 pack of 11.1V lipo.

Anyway do this (burnt ESC ) is warranty void?,if not i will taking a claim.

5s is Ideal...I've read a few post where you can get 50 plus out of 5s and stock set up

    Thank for so far reply.
    I have some question,
How much stock motor can handle for Voltage and AMP,
because of i plan to using 6S lipo stock motor with

Castle Creations Hydra High Voltage 120
    http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...ra120-highvolt

Don't sure it can hanle so much voltage,so much cost alredy pay for .
If speed isn't satisfied i also plan to using 12S lipo(2 22.2 lipo pack) :)

Hope motor can accept it ,wanna to get some break record ^^.

Well if the BJBL motor is truly a HIMAX motor it says they can run up to 40,000 rpm max, not sure if that a bearing limitation but 40,000 rpm is over kill anyway, 30-35k is ideal..I think 6s is the most you'd wanna put on that motor anyway, with a 640 and down prop. 12s on that Motor...you'd fry it completely...the wires are to thin to handle that kind of amperes and voltage...

    Quick question,

I have a pair of 5000mah 2S1P's that I normally run in my BJ26. I also have a 3S1P 5000mah pack, could I run one 2S1P and the 3S1P for a total of 5S1P? Will this work out ok? That would put total voltage at 18.5

    Thanks!

It should work, the amps are the same voltage will be the only increase

As voltage increase, so does amperage. IE a 700 motor with 12 cells may pull about 30 or so amps. On 16 cells with the same exact setup the amperage will go to about 40. I don't know the exact reason why but have witnessed and logged it. I'm sure one of the smarter engineer types could tell us why.

Steve he wasn't asking about load , he was asking if it was ok to place in series a 2s and 3s with the same mah.

IMO, you can mix different cell voltage battery packs in series, if they are the same brand, Mah rating, C rating, style and model etc................. The problem comes when the packs have a different internal cell resistance (ohms). This will cause one pack to get hotter than the other and poof!

I got 49.0 mph with a grimracer 45x68...I think I'll work on the 440 or move to a 640..I noticed the bigger the prop the more it comes out of the water.
