Default 1/8 prop on 3mm shaft

Was wonder if anyone has tried a 1/8 prop on a 3mm shaft? Might just be a pipe dream but I was thinking I could use a piece of 1/8 brass tubing as a sleeve on the shaft. I want to get an ose s&b prop, but want to make sure it would work before making an order. Anyone ever tried this?

Sure, take a small piece of plumbers white tape and wrap around flex shaft enough so the factory prop goes on kind of snug.

Thanks, I thought of that idea as well. Do you think the 1/8 tube would work? Or just use the Teflon tape method and be done with it?

Ok thanks. Anyone possibly know if the 1/8 brass tube would work good as a sleeve? I guess I could just order and try...

Yes, it will if you drill out prop to match 1/8 brass. I do on HK blue props.
