Default 3D Printing in ABS Plastic

Just trying to figure out who would be interested in having a part produced in ABS Plastic. I own a 3D printer, and can print up to sizes of 8"x8"x8"

    Thanks for your input.

    These printers are sweet.
    What machine do you have?
If I had 1 I would be making some scale drivers.

I will be making vintage and modern scale drivers for 1/8 and 1/10 scale. Also I will be making accessory parts like mirrors etc.

What do you need as a template? Do you need the actual part? Don't know how those work.

Look it up on youtube/google you will see a ton of videos and parts people make.

It prints from digital 3d models.
Its like a cnc machine but instead of taking material away it builds material up in tiny layers.

Printing will begin today. I will have examples up after I return in a week from a trip. There will be mirrors, drivers etc.

It is my personal. I work from home and print 3d prototypes. I just noticed that people do not offer enough "scale" items out there on the web.

I would need rough dimensions for the tanks. I will only print in black or white since those are the colors I use for work.

I'll get dimensions. I suppose black would be best. I can get them painted.

My truck is only a two door, so it would be two of the tanks on each side. Appropriate dimensions would be 6 inches in length and 1 inch diameter. They have a squared shape with rounded corners if you zoom in on the picture.

The black side rails on the model can be replace by flat pieces, so I can just epoxy or bondo your tanks onto them. You wouldn't have to make the rail underneath.

That is an awesome 3D printer If you need some 3D CAD work done, we can discuss rates. I use SolidWorks 2012.
Sometimes all you need to do is "finish".

Sorry everyone, I have had to put off 3D printing projects at the moment. I am currently working on some serious projects for my day job. I apologize if I have delayed anyone. I just don't have the time
