Default were to buy the water hose nipple to the rudder or new rudder?

    Hi!

I have broken the screew nipple back of the rudder on the im31 v2 there the water flows, the "waterpicup screew nipple"
I couldnt find a Complete rudder With this screew mounted, its sold out. And i only need this little screw there the hose is mounted on the rudder, i have been in the rc shop in my town a few but no one have a screew that fits the treads to the rudder.

The Geico water nipple was a little to big and i fast broken when i trying to screw it on..

Let me know if someone know where i can order this small screw or maby the hole rudder if i must buy it Complete, i think its 3,5mm screew and Geico have m4?

Are you talking about where the water hose connects to the rudder?
If so, could you try reaming out the threads and use a piece of brass tubing?

I have a few boats that do not have threads on the rudder and I just use brass tubing...

Yes this little screew that the hose gets water from the rudder :)

I couldt find it and most of the shops is sold out. I have use glue but the treads is gone, i dont know how long it will hold so i want a new screew to fix the problem.

Do you just buy a piece that fits the hole and just glue it?

I have ordered this part at 4mm http://www.modellers.com/Produkter/F...000006986.aspx
    And this 3,5mm http://www.modellers.com/Produkter/F...000001032.aspx

The problem is that the hole in the middle is to small so i dont think the boat will get enough water..
Can someone find the right part that i could order? I will be thankfull :)

For the brass tube method, for my rudder I got lucky and found a diameter that just barely fit-- it was very close but slightly too big so I was able to sand the brass tube to make a perfect press fit. You could also epoxy it in.

Here's a link to the replacement rudder in case you can't get it to work.
