Something close to a 1/6th mile oval would be nice so I can do some real testing.

Bring my Q-mono, Geico Spec power and DF33 Spec power. Not too much else to bring, still refurbishing some boats and making wood chips on others, getting there though...

I will know more by the end of the week. If you have a retrieval boat, by all means bring it. The more the better!

If there is decent 1/6th mile oval maybe Chris K. would join us? I'd have to call him though, he's not much for forums, etc...

He has some great boats, very stable & fast.

Ugly to some but, I'd say more of a work of art. The amount of time he has spent doing trial and error to get his boats to run so well deserves some respect imo.

I'd like to go but, my dilemma is as it has always been. I don't own more than one set of Lipo's for each boat and I have not heard if anyone going has a generator? I'm trying to acquire a Honda 1000 used but, they are hard to come by. If I were to try and charge from my car it might kill the battery. I do have a spare car battery in decent shape from my old Grand Prix but, not sure how many charges I'll get out of that thing??? Any suggestions...

Like I said before if Chris K. were coming I could most likely borrow a little bit of juice from him but, he goes to Alliston pond mainly. If I have time in between appointments today I'll call him and see if he can come with some juice...

Weather is o.k. it says high of 20* and a few showers. I'll be cycling cells later after I make a dreaded trip to the vet tonight.

Ray there will be a pair of generators on site, and I'm working on getting a third. One way or another we will all be able to charge while we're there.

Thanks Guys!!! Awesome! Yeah, I could charge from my car as long as I keep 1 4S 5800Mah pack at least 1/2 charged as it will start a car easy, I've done it.

O.k. now for dinner and then Odie's possible last ride to the vet...

Wendy and I will not be that early. Not because I can't get my ass out of bed but, it's Wendy really. She looks forward to sleeping in a bit at least once a week. Can't blame her as she is my sponsor.

It twas a lot of fun and I'm pretty sun burnt. Just got home.

Many thanks to all the Durham Region Boaters for the great time and BBQ. Good burgers, salad etc..

Choppy conditions but, the 40" Q-mono handled it just fine. Later I tried a 60mm HK CNC prop, whoa, that was fast. Hit a wave and the prop torque sent my boat in the air spinning but, came down paws first... Next, get my IMPBA so I can test at Alliston for Junes big race in MI.

I can try to answer any questions to the best of my ability, but you can easily find the answers on this forum. And get help and advice from far more experienced builders and racers.
