Hi all,
could anybody tell me please what is the right timing for the 1800kv motor? I bought the seaking 180 amp esc by OSE and now have to programm it.
And also; the timing is the same for 4 and 6 pole motors?
Thanks all, Niky.

What brand of motor? What is the can size?
Hi Heaving Earth;
I don't know what is "brand" or "can size".
You, what timing would you regulate with Spartan or Imp.31 v2 stock motor?
Both 1800 kv, one 4pole, other 6pole.
Thanks.
Anyone know what the timing is set to for the stock Spartan electronics

You can't time on a bushless motor unless you going to buy a very expensive unit, cans are sealed (if it as no timing marks no timing needed). Program cards don't set timing to a motor and if you are running stock you have only three setting 50/50
70/30 or forward only. unless you get the ipad gear then you can set everything in between.
The timing advance for sensorless brushless motors is always set in the ESC. Many ESCs allow simple user changes, some of the cheaper ones do not. Most RTR motors are "Y"-wound and run very well on 10-15 degrees of advance. A "D"-wound motor needs 0-4 degrees of advance - "low" on most controllers.
