    Default Water getting in!

My brothers boat has quite a bit of water in it after each run, not enough to mess up the cog or anything but enough to worry about. So today I put it in the bath and watched it for a while, looking it over and found out where it's coming in. It's coming in at the very rear of the boat where the two havles of the hull connect, is there a way to seal this up? Ca glue or what would u guys recommend? Boat is all plastic!

    Yep,
It is for his Rio ep right.
Ca should do it or some goop house hold.
Also it may have some water coming up the stuffing tube when it is running to,
I just put a small piece of water line that just slips over the flex shaft to the stuffing tube.
That help to stop the water and work like a grease seal to.

Yes for the rio, and not much was visible, I ran it without the prop, and no water was getting in, at least none for the moment I ran it! Will have to look into the water line stuff though for security! Lol
Thanks for the help Lenny, helped a lot on almost all of my posts!

Also does he do a lot of reversing and 180 at ?
If so it will come in at the back of the hatch to if he does not tape it good.
I do not use tape on mine so I get about 2 tbl spoons of water after a few runs.

180's yes, he doesn't reverse often though, unless he needs it which is still rare. And we do use tape on ours, just for safety because we run ours out in actual lakes so if they flip, they NEED to be as watertight as possible cause if they sink, there down a couple hundred feet! Hahahaha, so yes I tape his up before every run!

I've looked around a LITTLE not much yet but I do plan to before his birthday, I'm having a pretty hard time finding some 1/8 shaft size!!! The closest I have found so far is a x435 2blade prop! :/

Just stay with 3/16 and get or make a prop shaft spacer,
Than you will have way more prop choices and deal to.

Question about the prop adapter, how will the drive dog work? Because with a bigger prop the drive dog will have extra slack in it won't it?!?
