Leaving the sale price in after it's sold

I think many of us would benefit if the selling prices were left in the thread after an item is sold. It seems that many people, (and I have followed along and done it myself), delete the price and write in "SOLD" after it sells, but when shopping for an item, it helps to know what they have sold for in the past with a quick search.

I know this would be next to impossible to enforce as a rule, but it certainly could be brought to people's attention as a suggestion.

I agree. I'm selling a bunch of stuff over the next week and it helps in pricing an item fairly. Jmo

I agree to implementing this. It is mandatory on another board I belong to (Snipershide) and is an awesome tool to value your gear. With that as a rule on the other site, there are still deals to be offered/found from people to pass gear onto the next person. It does not devalue a product form one to the next and probably gains more for the seller as they see what a trending price is and doesn't shoot too low either.
