I'm sure this is a quite common question. Why is the shipping for orders to Canada so steep? Is it a U.S. Post issue? I'm finding that some of my orders double in price with the shipping.
Just a curiosity.

You live, you make mistakes, you learn, you more forward.
Canadian thing.
Have every thing shipped as a warranty repair / replacement, then there is no duty and taxes. Then you can insure for full value on the big stuff.
Cheers, Jay.
Well I just had an outrigger shipped to ShipHappens and had someone pick it up,and dang if it wasn't still $50+$5. The last Geico that was shipped to me was $55 direct. So go figure.I have found Steve quite fair as I have tried both options with him too(until you hit the $300 value).
I sold a drifter S a few weeks back, somebody else in the states sold one the same week. The shipping was the exact same price for theirs shipped inside the states as for me to ship mine across the border. 35$ for shipping.
I haven't noticed much difference in shipping prices.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
If it goes past 35" in length the price goes to outer space.
