In which direction does this make a difference? Does a two pole motor draw more current or less then a six pole?

Yes, 2 pole draws harder...maybe that is what I should say.

ammo motors are 2 pole, but the new ammo ul-1 motor is a six pole. they are designed to run 2 or multi-pole.

I may be wrong, but the AquaCraft UL-1 motor is not called a "ammo" motor as far as I know. It may be because the "ammo" line of motors is 2 pole.

take a close look at a ul-1 motor, its manufactured by great planes (ammo line) for aquacraft. the ammo line has option for multi-pole design, but the ammo's are only 2 pole right now.

I didn't say they were not from the same factory. I only said its not called a "ammo" motor. Keeping names and things straight is better for the sharing of information.

They are all presumably from the same factory. Also, great planes, tower hobbies, aquacraft, ammo and a host of other brand names are all owned and operated by Great Planes.
