Hey bud after doing some thinking im just wanting to stick with plastic props. The boat only has a 30amp speedo in it on a 3000kv motor running 2s 2000mah 20c packs. Im afraid of poping a speedo in it. thanks for the offer.

    Hi,
I am using that same y535 prop on my mini bolt hydro and I think it works great.
Do you have a link to the boat you have ?
Also if you do not want the prop from mtbenjamin77 I may want it for a spare in my box.

Im sorry lenny i didn't see ure post. 2nd i can't run anything that small. 30mm is barely big enough due to the motor being 3000kv. The one randy recomends is the 1700kv with the x427. Im looking for anything thats 30mm-35mm plastic. Those forum links are to the boat i own. He gave it away during the xmas giveaway and ive reworked the hardware to help with the crazy hopping and ive got it pretty smooth now but once i got it almost dialed i hit something underwater and broke the only prop i had for it. It was a stock Aquacraft mini mono prop.

So if anyone has any 30mm-35mm plastic 1/8" shafts props please let me know.

And try this for doing videos by your self,
I strap it to the tx with velcro straps.
That I cut to the size of camera or camcorder,
And aim at the boat like a gun and works good.

    Here's a pair of 30mm with 1.65 pitch... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMNN0&P=7

I have a spare CNC'ed aluminum x438 that I got from Jan (Kintec) if that helps. It's 3/16" bore with brass spacer http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...?prod=ose-1035 to fit 1/8" shafts.

I got it (and several others) I used for testing to find out what size my boat wants - this one is too small.

    Thumbs up Great Idea

    Hey Lenny

Thanks That's a great idea!! -- I'm gonna give it a try next time out.

I'd like to add to your suggestion, as you know, the mem cards only have enough room for short vids (couple 5-mins max), so bring a laptop / notebook along and transfer the vids to it.

Once you get home, you can transfer all your vids to your tower and edit / combine / dress them up for posting to this site / YouTube - just my 2-cents.

    Regards,

Billy that x438 would be wayyyy to big for this lil micro. Its a vee thats 12.5 inches long. Its running a 3000kv mystery motor with a 30a mystery speedo. Im going to do some research on those hammer props the pitch is intriging.

But if anyone else has any other props let me know thanks
