OK I got the Pursuit, Sprincat and Falcon prepped for Sunday and the rescue boat battery is topped off. Not sure if I'm going to mess with prepping LSH and the Cheetah though. Have to wait til a little closer to Sunday to see what the wind is going to be doing.
Reed Eagle is goin to join us on Sunday. He is bringing P-Mono, LSH and P-Ltd Hydro.
There's a face we haven't seen in a while
he was at the nats we all went too a few years ago bill....u must mean at your lake? hope he brings that shovel nose like the one i built as i really need the set up info....

Balance is 1" behind the sponson transoms. Set the strut depth so the afterplane is parallel to the table top. Reed is using a 42x55 with mods from Mark Sholand (Props-4-U).
This is supposed to arrive tommorow. I'm Excited!
That is a MUCH improved look over the Sprintcat Ray.

So to continue a discussion here rather then cloud up the run day reports... Chris and I had a discussion last night about the comment Bill made about new members and a probation period. Chris and I came up with a probabtion period idea that prohibits a "green" boater from racing and is limited first to test n tune and race day open waters. I say green meaning an unexperienced boater. The new "green" member MUST have an experienced driver at his side at all times coaching him on what and what not to do. Somone who claims experience or immediately shows propper driver etiquette we can allow to race if we all agree. Although we have been experiencing an issue w/ one of our new members in sporatic wreckless driving, I have to admit, its all of out faults. At all times someone needs to be spotting anyone who is on the water, and especially a new guy. we know from first hand experience, saying something and walking away isnt having any effect.
Well, it's Wednesday befpre a race day Sunday. I've been really busy at work and haven't had much time to allocate here. I do have the recue boat battery charged up though, and getting ready to start prepping boats for Sunday.
Hoping we have some more good weather like the did for the 2nd Sunday run.
Scott, I have 4 motors & props liberated for you. Finished up re-powering the new hexa over this past weekend. http://youtu.be/rgo3xf0e97E
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend Sunday.
Bill, if youd like to pick up all the audio equipment and generator tomorrow after work, your welcome to. Or if youd rather just have a race day w/ out it, thats up to you.
For the amount of traffic in here at the moment I don't know if the sound system would be worth the extra hassle.
Is anybody planning on showing up Sunday?
Gary from up in the villages is coming to spectate. Apparently he's coming with a bus load, 10+ people. It is awful quiet in here though.....
where did everyone go? lol.....i wish i was going south this week but am heading to ky for a couple months...darn place is snowing and my motorhome dont like cold !!!!
