Happy New Year 2013 everybody!
Can you help me to find the best motors for a twin setup deep vee 127cm long? First the size of the motors, 40x92 or 56x82, with 8S or 10S for each combo. Which brand is better, Leopard, TPPower or SSS from HOR?

Nobody?
The deep vee is 50" long, 8S or 10S for each combo? Two 5682 motors, iq this heavy for this hull?
Thanks
Well... no reply??? The hull is 127cm x 33cm. I have 2/3 setups for this project, my favorite is this one.
Tell me what do you think about this twin setup, thanks

Alfa, youve posted very similar things hundreds of times before, the setup applied to any of your other "builds" would still be fine
im unsure why you keep asking for build sugesstions but no ones seen one from you?
They sure do look pretty,
But would look a lot nicer running in the water.
1020kv on 10S = PPOOFF!!! On 8S would be good. Those controllers are less than optimum.
Unfortunately, we will never see this project go forward. Just like all of his projects.
I just picked up a 5698 910kv that should be good for 8s sport running at 26936 rpm.
Would this motor work any good on 6s with a SK130hv esc at 20202 rpm ?
I am not sure what size mono hull or cat just yet.
Don' t worry, this boat will go in the water like other.
One thing is sure, especially for a twin setup the boat needs RPM. I choose 10S for the batteries, I have no boat running with 4S, and the motors will be 4092 with Y wiring, 2 x 5682 is too heavy.
With 2 x 10S the motors will be near 900kV
The problem with the setup is the hobbywing 180 amp esc's will not be able to handle the 10s lipo, they are a good 6s esc, maybe 8s, but not a 10s esc.
Here is the ESC, 5S-12S

Sorry missed that, thought they were t180 esc.
