I an some friends build boats in the off season, we do 3 boat at a time, because its cheaper than building only 1 , also if u crash 1 up u got 2 more of a same ,
I have about 10.also finding out its better to spend a little more for good stuff than to waste your money on junk. I also love to redesign an kit bash,
think outside the box. o ya my wife supports me in my hobbies. she says that keeps me home with her ,, LOL

Still counting, Gas, Nitro, Fast Electric, Twins, Twins geared together, mono. hydro, unclassified, running, not running, going to run someday, never going to run but want to modify, partially built, started to build, cutout, somewhat cutout, hulls without sponsons, sponsons without hulls, deep vee with strakes sanded off, shall I continue?
Wife made me buy a warehouse and get everything away from home. Oh yes, add 43 different fiberglass boat molds, but it's just a fun hobby.

    LOL
Ive a shed lined with boats ..a couple jets fly on those ceilings too.
36 years of buying building running crashing repairing and/or starting again ..

My missus also complained .. demanded I scale down the fleet..

    went from 1/8 to 1/6 scale ..
    that worked for a while.

New gf is far more tolerant ......

    Sorry Douggie ...
My updates have been somewhat remiss of late.
That new sheila couldnt keep up with the Wallaby chasing roorooting antics of this Aussie bloke.
Not like the new thing had a future at Chez Doc, mate
.. first night in she dusted the shelf of single malt.......... and pushed them all to the back....
No skinny big breasted sheila is going to lecture me on diet neither ...
    Told her 'on ya bike'...

Found the old one had come to her senses, and let her back in ... LOL

I'm glad someone put this on a forum. My wife just rolls her eyes every time I get another boat. I currently have 5 that I bought and one that I built. She doesn't know that I spent $300.00 upgrading my Miss Geico that I had bought two weeks prior. Just got into the hobby in August of 2014. I tried planes a few years back and had a nasty propeller accident and it cast me a $750.00 emergency room visit.

Currently have 6 boats, essentially one of each type, SAW, sporting cat, mono, hydro and bashing. Though always looking to expand....

    1. TFL Genesis on 8S Eventually (under construction)

    2. TLF Genesis on 6S (Leopard 4082 1600kv / Seaking 180)

    3. Aquacraft Revolt 30 on 4S/5S (Leopard 4082 2200kv / Seaking 180)

    4. Aquacraft Lucas Oil on 4S (UL-1 2030kv)

    5. Aquacraft UL-1 on 4S (Stock)

    6. Joysway Madshark F1 on 2S

I wanted to setup a shrine for them in my living room or bedroom, but some mean old lady told me I had to keep them in the junk closet...

    Looks great!
My ex once protested my RC toys, then I found the perfect solution, went to a party supply store and bought plastic spiders and web ( for Halloween ) and not one word from her since.

I have 3 boats, apparition, pursuit and 90% completed hot shot II with K&B OB. I have too many other hobbies/responsibilities so i dont get a real lot of time to play with the boats but every now and then i get motivated and buy some new parts to upgrade them etc. The new house has a pond within walking distance which is good so the boats have been getting more use than they have ever had.
