Definately 4s, see how it goes - might try 5s, probably not 6s - ponds to small.

Trust me, you won't need 5s with that motor in a 29 inch cat. It will fly with 4s!
Miss Geico CC1515 2200kv T180 2S2S- Twin Genesis with 2 2700kv 2 T180's 4S2P- Stiletto with 2030kv T120 4S1P-DF33 4082 1600kv T180 6S2P- and lots of gassers!
I would do some reinforcing before the motor swap. Hull won't survive long with blow overs at the speeds that motor is capable of taking it to. Other then that drop it in and hold on.
5s it.
Is the physical dimension the same between Neu 1515 and Castle Neu 1515? I was under the impression that they are not the same motor, but I could not find the so-called Castle Neu on CC's web site. They only list them as Neu. Currently have a Neu 1515 1y powering my MM, just want to know the difference.
Sorry to pull this off topic.
Thanks
They are the same, listed under car motors. http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...le_motors.html
Castle 1515 is slightly bigger can than the Neu. Castle is aprox 75mm vs Neu 68mm long
my friend has a leo 2150 kv in his M29, and that is more than fun enough on 4s.
here is a clips of it ( since it's almost the same kv as the one you are planning)

Castle/Neu motors are designed by Neu and built in China by Castle.
Neu motors are built by Neu in California.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
Now that's Sweet!
Are the hauls foam filled?
