    Mike,
Epoxy the bottom to keep the water out. With out the flood chamber it will be top heavy and roll right over. I will be a brand new copy of the motor I used along with a couple templates. Order a DR motor mount. Glue the first piece plywood to the top of the flood chamber you closed off.. The next thing I did was cut 2 more pieces as stringers. The where about 2 inches high. I ran those long ways down both sides. The next piece of ply I glued to the top of these with a few inches hanging over to hang the DR mount off of. Remember it gets hung upside down and aliened with the shaft. The ujoint from the 380 motor will have to be drilled out. Be sure to start with a small bit and work your way up. I was barley able to slide it on the shaft. It hasn’t slipped yet. The last thing is to rig the steering servo. You can use my pics or be creative. Mine does hit the under side of the deck if I crank the rudder right all the way.
    Any more questions feel free.
    :).

I had a couple new motors from ABC Hobby Fighter 550 kits in the bin. They are nice air cooled 27 turn torquey marine motors.

when you say epoxy the bottom do you mean the slots in the bottom or the syphon tube hole.

well today i woke up early after getting home from the las vegas supercross @ 2:30am this morning and decided to work on the tug.
i now have it ready for the motor(thinking i might build my oun mount) rather than buy the dr mount.
all ply is sealed awaiting the motor mount.
SJFE what mount did you use (std. med. or long)

No problem. The 55osh is a good stock marine motor. it will last a long time.
