    Default 120amp seaking with a 4074

Is a 120amp esc enough esc for a 25 inch delta force v hull running a 4074 2200kv on 4s? I will be running somewhere between a 440-444 prop for this

Ya that motors way to big for the hull.

    120A wont work, 180A.

Thanks for the opinion but ive been running this motor in this hull with a swordfish 200 for a while now with no issues, problem was I put the swordfish in a new build and it blew up, so im wondering if the 120 will work

    Yes,
    I am running that motor and a t120a esc on 4s and a x646/3 prop in a 36"PB Shockwave,
    Modded to FE.
I just had to add three 1000ur caps to the esc to keep the temps down on them,
Runs very nice at 42 mph and about 6 minutes of run time on 2x4s 30c 3600mah packs.

Lenny thanks for the input, I have a stiletto with a 120 on5s but it's on a stock proboat 1800kv motor and with a 442 prop consistently get 56 + mph, it does have a lawless 3.5 though, which makes quite a difference compared to the stock outdrive.

That esc will melt down. Your motor can and will pull well over the rated 120 amps. Go with the Seaking/T-180.

What do you think about a 3674 1900kv on a t120 in the 25? I would probably run 5s on this set up

As long as you stick to 4s and don't go big on the prop it will be fine.

120 could be ok. I run same setup but with 180 which is prolly overkill

    Devo.
That T120 will easily spin that motor in the 25" delta with those props. I've run that combination in hulls up to 32"
Two things though. Add a couple of capacitors for insursance. And get yourself an X440/3 prop rather than going up to a 44mm size. The boat handles much better in my opinion with three blade props. Less torque roll than with bigger diameter props. More stable in the corners too.

Okay, here is an update on what ive decided to do. I sold the 4074 2200kv motor and plan on going to a 3674 1700kv leopard motor, a seaking 120 esc, and run it on 4 & 5s, what do you guys think about that setup?

It'll be fine. I run the exact same setup in my Titan 29 with tfl 444 prop. On 4 and 5s without issue. I'm getting 50 on 5s

I agree with 785 on the 440/3. It is really smooth and a good prop for the little hull. I've tried several props, 444,440/2,640,m445,642 and the 440/3 is my fav

Oh yeah you def will. My Titan is much larger bulky hull running two 5s packs. It kranks. Also try the 444, it's my other fav prop. I'm planning to do 5s with the 2200 lol
