I ordered one a few days ago. I'll post some pics when I get it. Looks like you have a few minis. Any Eco builds? I'm trying to figure out where to mount the hardware for this hull. I found other Eco build but they all are shorter.

I don't have any ECO's. I'll see if I can find any info on ECO setups that may help out.

If you dont have it yet, you will want the Etti motor coupler that OSE carries as that is what I use on my other Mini's and they are awesome.

    Hope that gets you going!

Nice. Thank you for the info. I ordered the etti hardware when I bought the hull. We shall see what the quality is. That's a interesting coupler. I missed that one on the etti. web site. I would have probably ordered it. I'm not a fan of set screws.

I've been there done all that, that coupler is best. What I had to do is use different size stainless steel sleeves that go over the motor shaft to make that coupler fit, but once you do that you will love it. It holds well and will not chew up your cable.

    Hi,

    I ordered this motor. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...r_2630kv_.html
And for batteries I don't have nimhs so I was going to start with a 2s lipo. I have anywhere from 1.5ah to 5.0ah. What are your thoughts?

Those are good motors! I have two of em. They are really Suxfly motors but the pic does not show that and HK put their logo in it. They are made by www.suxfly.com. That motor is rated at 14.8v 2~4s. 2s may be ok, but 3s should be a sweeter spot to run at for that hull size, and to get the most out of that motor but prop down as a start. 29000 RPM should not be too bad with 3s on that hull size but I think you can go more in KV. Here is video with similar hull in length with 4100kv motor on 4s.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cH6i7qrpTSY

With 3s maybe start with a 27mm and then try a 30 mm prop. and work your way up. You will likely need to use a 40A but that may be cutting it close, a higher amp like 50-60A or higher would be much better. Use whatever batter you have that is a highest C rating but is not too heavy, maybe start with a 2200mah to keep it fast and light, but if runtime is short go to higher mAH.

Some video's and other setups: (Hull: ETTI Tsunami)

    Motor: ETTI 4100Kv, ESC: ETTI 90A, Lipo: 2s 5000mAH Flightpower, 30 mm prop. > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmBQ2FweGwk

    Motor: ETTI B29 4650kv, ESC: ETTI 90A, Lipo : 2S1P 5400mAh, 31 mm prop. > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9REmORI_90&feature=related

Please keep us posted with your build. I have not found anyone who has one of these hulls and has posted what they have done with em. You may be the first, so it will be nice to see how it turns out!

Jeeze. Yeah they are slow. I watched my order sit for a week and take a week to go out (all was in stock) before it hit the US customs and after that it was 2 days to my door. So it took 2 weeks and 2 days. Eh, for the price I can wait.

Got it today. I'll post pics later. The finish is a little worse than the one on Hk but overall it will be ok.

I screwed up the positioning of the slot for the drive line but fixed it with epoxy and fiberglass. Thats why there is a line in front of the drive shaft.

Don't be sorry. I don't like RTR boats, but that's just me. To each their own.

    Gromov

Nice set-up and thanks for sharing.

Beauty lies in the beholder and Eco boats are cute!!! The self righting feature also is a invaluable feature of the boat.

I had a MHZ Eco Shark many years ago and have regrets selling it ever since.

Just ordered a new one to overcome my grief

Also I just checked your website and cannot understand the language...... What country language is it? Does the website have an english version?

    Cheers

    Gromov,
I have a Graupner eco manta, and Im not happy with the motor I have. What would you recommend?
Is a Tenshock CZII 1520/12 (3750 KV) on 3S too small for a 23 inch (584 mm) hull and still go race fast?
    CZII 1530/8 - 3770KV on 3S?
    WOuld I be better suited with a TP2948 4100KV?

    CZII 1530/8 - 3770KV on 3S - too much.
    With 3S - CZII 1530/11 - 2750 KV, + prop 30 - 31 mm diameter, and 38 - 41 mm pich. For example this one
    With these parameters, your boat will have to go 55 - 60 km/h, 5-6 min., with 3S1P 4500 - 5000 mAh akku.

What capacity of your 3S battery?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta88x7lJcIs&feature=plcp
What kind of a setup art these boats? How big are these hulls?
This is what I would like my Graupfner to run like!!
